A good idea to start the day is to visit the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. This park offers nature trails immersed in uncontaminated nature and you can go on excursions on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. You will be able to admire breathtaking landscapes and lots of wildlife.
Another stop not to be missed is the historic heart of Campobasso, the capital of the region. Here you can visit the Monforte Castle, an imposing medieval fortress, and stroll through the streets of the historic center admiring the ancient churches and stone houses.
